Killers

Killers – Even if you’re not a fan of Ashton Kutcher – and let’s face it, who is after 15 years of age – this is not a totally bad movie. Once you allow yourself to believe he could be a “licensed to kill” operator, it’s entertaining in a light summer way. After meeting and falling for Katherine Heigl (Jen), a normal, slightly klutzy girl, he decides to retire from the agency. Three years later everyone in the entire neighborhood is trying to kill him for the bounty on his little head. Not sure of the reason for the bounty but it’s several million dollars.  Jen’s father is played by Tom Selleck who is not all that he appears to be and her mother, Catherine O’Hara, is fun as a lady who totally enjoys her cocktails.
If you’re watching your pennies, you might want to wait for the Knight and Day movie later this month. Same sort of premise and I’m thinking it’s going to be much more enjoyable.
