Why Him?

Why Him? – It’s R rated, I’ll just tell you that right up front. Language – a lot of f’ing going on – and some light backside nudity; balanced out with diversity – Asians, blacks, and nerds. Laird (James Franco) is a tattooed millionaire, wearing pants down to there, who’s just a big kid with no sense of propriety. He’s in love with Stephanie (Zoey Deutch) whose father Ned Fleming (Bryan Cranston) is a tad more conservative.

It’s more than a little raunchy but with a good amount of funny. When Ned tells Laird he was once fired from selling Datsuns, Laird responds with “How could you f’up selling little dogs?” A bedroom scene with Megan Mulalley as Ned’s wife is pretty funny and bathroom humor is taken to a whole new level.
The very best, however, is Gustav (Keegan-Michael Key), Laird’s majordomo. He can do anything and everything and he does it with panache.

Lots of brand names mentioned throughout – apparently the new way to pay for certain films.
