Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 –  After days with no sleep, Tony Starke (Robert Downey, Jr.) is experiencing panic attacks. He has built dozens of Iron Man suits.  Years ago he stood up Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) who has the science to regenerate body parts.  It also turns people into exploding bombs which is now  thought to be the work of a terrorist named Mandarian.  Soon Happy (Jon Favreau) is almost killed by one of these bombs and Iron Man is feared  dead.  He’s actually in Tennessee and meets up with a cute kid (Ty Simpkins) who turns out to be quite helpful.

Col.   Rhodes aka War Machine (Don Cheadle) is now known by the more marketable name Iron Patriot.  Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) gets better with each episode.  Ben Kingsley is so good as the doped and duped two-bit actor Trevor Slattery who thinks he’s just playing a part as a terrorist. As to be expected, there’s a lot of action and just the right amount of human interaction.  Moral to the story: Never ever negotiate with terrorists.

It’s good and I look forward to IM4.    Be sure to stay through the credits – more than half of the audience did when I saw it.
